Hi Mariano, there was a shortage of headlamps as many trucks had one to begin with, others were missing or broken.

As there was hardly any supply of spares (all sent to Argentina to be stored away for deacdes :) ), they just used any available headlamps and made them fit.

Remember to tell me how many dozen you need and I'll bring them to you on the next trip to Normandy! :)

The coach builder De Jong based in the town of Sleeuwijk converted a number of C8A into this sleek looking fire truck:
