Tony

I couldnt hold you to that. Over here a contract requires "offer" AND "acceptance" so, not only are you "off the hook", you were never on it.
If you're ever over here, look us up.

Ganmain Tony 18-10-11 11:45

Thanks Lads

Thanks Lynn and Ken. Wouldnt expect anything less than that level of graciousness from you blokes. Good stuff.

Makes me and the way I am coming to terms with the result seem appalling.

:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: ad nauseum etc, etc.

Next time I over the ditch.....will do & would be honoured....and I will buy the beer.

Only one for me. The rest must be for Ken. He's a CMP man. My only CMP stuff is all to do with carriers.

Ken Hughes 19-10-11 08:13

I would look forward to meeting you Tony, regardless of the beer, still it will be good to swap a few lies etc and compare notes on our CMPs

The Jobs Done!

The French played well, and the A B's were lucky to win. They made it by the smallest possible margin (by the skin of their teeth!)
So thats;
Two to South Africa,
Two to Australia,
Two to New Zealand and,
too bad to France. :D :D :D    :fry: :drunk: :) :)

D Ellery 23-10-11 22:17

Boy that was close ae Lynn. Just shows how unpredictable the French can be. After playing some woefull rugby throughout this tournament they then came out last night and took it to the AB's. Credit for the passion they played with but joy for the World cup winners. The nations :sheep: today

Lynn Eades 23-10-11 22:55

David

Can you imagine what the country would have been like today, had they lost?
I hear the Ferns won in Perth, also by 1 point :D

D Ellery 24-10-11 06:00

Lynn 1 points fine by me, boy I'd take half a point if it came to it. Yes I'm sure the mood of the country would have been a tad sad this morning if that last penalty kick by the French had of gone over. We could clearly hear the fireworks and ships horns going off out here. Wonder if they would have lit the wicks if the French had won lol. Anyway its been a fantastic tournament, great atmosphere not just at the games but all over the place. I've had my Carrier at 2 events lately and have meet alot of International fans filling in time between games, all of them having a ball ! :thup2:

Lynn Eades 18-10-15 00:07

Well it's getting serious again.
Very happy to beat the French by such a margin.

I have enjoyed watching the quality play by the other teams from around the world. The game seems to be gaining in popularity. Great to watch top skills!

Ganmain Tony 19-10-15 09:56

Brother..!

Dont worry Lynn... Im watching with keen interest.

Just havent got any fingernails left after last night...

Lynn Eades 19-10-15 10:49

Your guys were cutting it fine.

Watched part of a rugby match the other day, I was very impressed by the referee skills and the fact that the players accept his judgement. Something soccer players should take as an example :teach:
Believe it or not: soccer referees have been injured and killed(!) by angry players.

So the game IS growing in popularity then? :D

(I said this because Hanno watched some of it)

Well, except for the Scots baying for ref Joubert's blood over one particular decision!

Lynn Eades 25-10-15 21:18

Go the All Blacks! One to go! :note: It's looking like :kangaroo

Without googling, Does anyone know who the reigning Olympic Rugby champions are?

Tony Wheeler 25-10-15 23:50

'bout time we met in a World Cup final Lynn! Should be a cracking game.

Lynn Eades 31-10-15 06:01

Loaded un sportsman like riddle:

What do you get if you take the "AB" out of Wallabies? :D

Up early in the morning are we, Tony and Kenny????

Ganmain Tony 31-10-15 12:37

Then there were two..

Puma's and Boks are done...

Now its just us... :kangaroo vs :sheep:

Richard Farrant 31-10-15 23:41

All quiet in Australia :kangaroo

Lynn Eades 31-10-15 23:48

What can I say? Today is the AB's day. :note: :thup2:
The whole country is smiling.

I thought the Wallaby Captain was very honourable :salute:

Ganmain Tony 01-11-15 00:43

Bill

I was too gutted to say anything last night. Geez I thought we were going to get it halfway through the second half.

Better team won - full marks to the All Blacks.

Very proud of our blokes :thup2: :thup2:

Tony Wheeler 02-11-15 20:32

Well it pains me to say this but there's no getting around it: Congratulations All Blacks on a well deserved win.

Full credit to our blokes too: Wallabies fairytale denied in the end but they sure did Australia proud. Can't ask more than that.
