The above is a thread I have on these cookers on another site |
I have some large general configuration drawings which I will try and post up at a later date.
I also have in poor condition some paper work recording the steaming. hours and storage methods for these units. Every time they were used the cooks had to record it and total steam time noted. Silica gel bags were placed in the boiler when not in use etc. The army kept very good records of every thing about these cookers |

It is simple enough to join, and there are a variety of threads about MVs, not just Land Rovers, so your interest may be much wider than just Ron's thread on the steam cookers.
A KVE Newsletter some issues ago had my article on the Aust Steam Cookers: Richard: which edition was it in, and is it still available via the KVE website? Mike C |
Mike's article is in Edition 13 of October 2012. I can't find it on the KVE website.

That newsletter is not currently on the KVE Corowa website, but if anyone wants it they can PM me with their email address and I will send it as pdf. It was edition No.13. The website only has the current newsletter (Oct 2014) but will contact the webmaster to get the earlier ones on as you have some interesting articles in them (thanks!). regards, Richard |
PM sent thanks Richard :) :thup2:
