Nice photo of the WS58 in use. You seldom see these other than cadet use.

These photos (12 in total )were taken in 1952 and are captioned as "Operation Puncher". I've no idea what and where this exercise was, does anyone know?

The photo is from around 1972 and the Do's & Don'ts are still relevant today I guess.

Three last items that might be of interest. I have hundreds of more photos in my late father in laws albums but no more of signals kit or CMP/Signals vehicles, all the remainder are of regimental members most of which give names & ranks, mess dinners and signed mess menus etc..
The Kingston Museum is interested in all of them for historical archive reasons and so that is where they will finally reside when my wife feels that she can part with them, not however just yet!

Were they still using the 19 set as late as 1972 ? I see a Larkspur set as well . The cars do help with the time scale - early 50's models Ford. Pontiac ? sedan and Chevy panel trucks ... Quite a collection of pics , thanks for posting them

Thank you

Hi John

Want to thank your wife and you for sharing these family memories with us.

Glad you have made arrangements for them to be eventually archived and saved for future generations.

Cheers Phil

In that photo with the Larkspur there is a WW2 (or before) National HRO receiver & coil set behind them.
