It CAN be great...but there are 2 drawbacks here:

1. He only lives here on the weekends (wait, sometimes that's a bonus)

2. If he's cooking, he cooks what HE wants, which, unfortunately, sometimes ends up being SPAM, fercrissakes, in which case we have to leave the house while he eats & then opens all the windows to get rid of the smell.
