No idea what this photo is about but it reminds me of a cartoon from the April 1942 issue of the "Tank"...
Must be difficult climbing around on the equipment in heels! :D |

See Ordnance Museum Data Plates #2: British & Canadian at the AFV News forum.
The data plate of Ram II WD No CT160162 / TKC 1691 / DND 76-133 has surfaced at the U.S. Army Ordnance Museum. This tank was present at Aberdeen Proving Ground, in Aberdeen, Maryland, USA, until at least December 1946 when the photograph below was taken. Now long gone, probably since the Korean War scrap drive, but luckily the data plate survives. Pictures courtesy of Neil Baumgardner. Thanks for the heads up! At least we can record remains of another Ram. Last entry at www.ramtank.ca for serial number CT159625 is in June 1943, "retained in Canada for training purposes". Who can read the DND number? 56-569? Regards, Hanno Quote:

Clive,
Here´s another picture of DND number 70-938. You already have a picture of it, listed under CT39929. Still with T&S (Training) Wing, A33, Cdn Armoured Corps, but the WE-210 tracks have been replaced with the later T54E1 track type, so I presume this picture was taken at a later date. Click on the picture to go to the source, there are some other Ram pictures as well. HTH, Hanno http://www.militaryimages.net/photop...5/save0118.jpg |

Who is in contact with Clive's family, please? MLU could offer server space to host the website. Please contact me if you can help. Thanks in advance! Hanno |

The Internet Archive Wayback Machine is indeed a vital resource to save valuable information once published on the internet, and of which the original webpages are no longer accessible. See https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.ramtank.ca for the full backup of this site, which along with its owner and publisher, Clive Law, has passed away. One will need to search to see if the individual pages of which this website consisted, were all saved. The Wayback Machine only saves pages, not complete websites per se. Regards, Hanno |
Hanno
Any chance MLU could import his pages? With his families approval of course. He had a lot of valuable information on them....shame if they got dumped by the wayback one day. |
