It could also be an ambulance, given the lack of winch.

Richard Coutts-Smith 02-03-13 06:26

Thanks Scott, bid/won/ just received one of the E-bay items from post 811.
Would have missed it without you pointing it out.
Keep up the good work.
Rich.

Keith Webb 02-03-13 07:45

Only a short time left to bid...

This (going by the engine number, 4G21899F) looks to be a Ford CMP engine: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayIS...ectorid=229515
Be quick if you want it - located in Bayswater Vic. No connection with seller.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Blitz-For...item19d9b4f123

Starting price is only $200 !!!!

Looks like a cut down radio truck :)

Private_collector 08-03-13 04:19

Chev CMP

Probably worth it for the doors & wheels alone.

As usual, it's a little far out of town for me!

I'll buy the passenger side guard, if anyone buys the truck for parts.

That would be quite the shame though.

It is a signals van cut down
Would be a great starting point .Looks like it has been shedded most of the time and recently been dragged out

Did anyone notice

Thanks for posting the pics, I was wondering whether anyone noticed the original seat riser which was used in the rear body?

If I didn't have far too many commitments I'd be interested. The C15 is a very sweet CMP to drive.

Just saw the price and had to stifle a laugh... for a cab 12 in that condition I reckon they are asking about $14,750 too much.

This is one Andrew spotted in August 2011.

Does have a nice Ford badge still on the dash though.

Private_collector 11-03-13 06:06

I wonder where they got $15,000 from!

Sticky 00000000000 key.

Either sticky 0 key or sticky from having their hands on something else:ergh:

Looks like it has changed scenery since I was sent photos of it
It must be one of the advanced models 6 years ahead of it's time :D

Nathan Clark 11-03-13 11:37

$15000  Bit rough for that sort of money, makes a fully restored blitz price tag seem very reasonable

For those of you interested, i did see a nice looking Chev blitz on a place out west recently, didnt get a close up look to see if the running gear was in but looked good from the outside either way.

Nathan

Nathan Clark 11-03-13 12:03

Just rang the seller to clarify the price and $15000 is correct, apparently its a early model and 'quite rare' ? Then went on to say that he would sell the motor and gearbox for $5000. Maybe you guys restoring a blitz could by it for cheap parts :D
