Another ex-US Army Power Wagon recently surfaced in Southwestern Colorado and was subsequently sold:

What’s unusual about this truck is that it was originally purchased by the U. S. Army. If you look carefully in the photo below you’ll see the driver’s door still has stenciled “U. S. Army for Official Use Only” “FT. S. H. (Sam Houston) Texas, .B.ORD.-385, -54.

Dodgem Car

I remember one of the Power Wagon crash trucks being on the East Sale RAAF Base when I was there with the Air Training Corp in 1964.
The next time I saw one it was many years later in W&P Machinery's yard in Thomastown. They had bought it from disposals for resale.

David, There is an ex.Sale RAAF Base Power Wagon in Orbost. It is now in civilian paint but owned by the Caterpillar repairer up there. Had some photos years ago but don't know where they are now. He was at Corowa with it for the Year of the Dodge a while back.
(Doesn't it give you the gipps when you can see the vehicle and know the owner but can't remember his name!) :confused :confused

Had a look at another MLU thread and his name popped up. "Terry Philips". So it just takes a bit longer some times.

Regards Rick.
