Ron Pier 13-02-12 18:52

A carrier would also be a good platform for some of the vicker's line of light tanks...

Well done Rick and Easo'

easo 20-02-12 11:48

I like the rollers for the azimuth traverse, but how will you be securing the turret to the hull in order to allow the necessary rotation but not letting it fall off?

What are the plans for the main armament? Just in place? Simulated recoil? Shooting tennis balls? :)

Regards Easo

Well it's just about there. I will have to do a Youtube of it driving after completion. I will be sorry to see it go but at least they will have a lot of fun with it.
Colin.

D Ellery 27-02-12 07:21

Great work Colin. Is this going to be used for airsoft or paintball?

eddy8men 27-02-12 09:32

it does look really good but a thought just struck me. what if someone pulls this out from a hedge in 50 years time and mistakes it for some sort of original war time modification :D

rick

jack neville 27-02-12 11:29

Hedge find of the future?

Then I would think they would marvel at what sort of thinking was behind the production of a WW2 tennis ball gun!

Philliphastings 28-02-12 03:07

It's Bob Semple meets General Stuart !
