Spitfire in the sand
The Spitfire beer picture is from HMVForum site and the comments about the dog and pony show in Burma are getting cruel over there.

Great Photo. I know me and a lot of my old Army buddies would have loved to dig up a cache of "Sealed" Spitfire bottles, bugger the planes, party time. Cheers Tony :no4: |

Oh well, back to the old drawing board, It was I suppose just an eccentric man's dream. We all thought of the dig with a "tongue in cheek" attitude we will now have to find another project to keep the thread going as this one dies. :D :D Cheers Tony :no4: |
Did I ever tell you about the time I was abducted by aliens? It was while I was on a trip, looking for the loch ness monster. The ship was shaped a bit like a spitfire, just different in every way.
Aliens were from uranus! :D The landing site was in Area 51, which is of course where the fake moon landing was staged. Also the home of the sasquatch/bigfoot/yeti/abominable snowman/julia gillard. |

Maybe the MVPA Alaska convoy was just a cover for a recon mission. |
Were those aliens circling uranus looking for klingons?
|
Why yes they were! But all they found was the captains log!!!

Farce
The farce is becoming more farcical as time goes on.
Look! A piece of buried PSP just like the stuff on the fences around here! http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/...1_2456258c.jpg |
Seafires
How about Supermarine Seafires in Lake Ontario
|
Muddy water
The crate they found contained muddy water (not to be confused with Muddy Waters)

Oh well, back to the old drawing board. On another note, at least the skeleton found buried under a council car park in Northern England at has been positively identified by DNA that the bones found were those of missing King Richard III of England.:remember Cheers Tony :no4: |
So here is a buried plane that seems to be the real deal ....

Hi Keith
Oh well that's it then. Well we dreamed for a while there anyway. Seeing how popular the site was with so many hits, we had better find another project to keep the site alive. I hear they sighted that darned Yeti again. Cheers Tony :no4: |
