In July, 1944, the Ford Motor Company was translating TM10-1263, the Maintenance Manual for the Ford GPA Amphibious Jeep. Other manuals were also being translated. Congratulations were extended to the US for the quality of translation. Has anybody ever seen this manual in French text? Ian Grieve |
Ian, since you asked: no, I have not seen any GPA manual in French. But I have no knowledge of jeep manuals whatsoever.

Surviving 1941 2G8T or G8T; picture found on the Canon Digital Photography Forums. Note the Olive Drab base coat showing through after the red and black paint wears off. Great to see the black out lighting still in place.

It must have its original deck too Hanno, judging by the AWM photo?

Possibility....
Hanno/Lynn....although not a 1941, but there is a 1942 unit on Ebay currently under "Ford 1942 Army Gate Truck". Check it out. Robert
