Hi,
I need a pic of a cab ford cab13 the driver side from the floor up to the steering colonne i have a cut there and not sure if it original or not :coffee please help :giveup :giveup http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/679/1004726h.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us |
The Handle in front of the Crew Commander/Navigator seat is what I like to refer to the "Holy Sh*t Handle," cause there isn't much else to hang on to while going cross country. Wouldn't think these are hard to find since they are heavy gauge steal but should be easy to re-produce as well

The cut is to allow the nose clip to be removed without disconnecting all the wires. You have a lot more holes in that side plate. Regards Terry |
Hi Terry,
Thanks for the infot  |

Know one could tel if this is original for cmp??? thx Eric |
Maybe......
Hi Eric
On the voltage regulator I doubt that the original would have lasted 65 years... hard to tell.... all the ones I have seen on old trucks do not have the red tag on them. In any event you probably would not want to trust it anyways. The best source for a replacement...plain black almost same size as the orignal... is a farm tractor shop and they will have repro in 12volts and 6 volts....... with the saem connections. On your removable nose bracket...... best bet is to find a suitable size angle iron and fabricate your own....... the original was made from a 1/8 thick flat steel bent in a large press..... a local steel shop can bend it for you.... all depends how original you want to be. Good luck Boob |

For the regulator i juste want to keep it if this is the original one i will go with 12v systeme ! And for the braket i think i will do a reproi can't seem to find a paire :whinge thanks for your motivation Boob :thup2: |
Hi,
It was a big job to do the botome of my ford grill a lot of work for the little part like that  http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/9011/1004753.jpg |
Getting good with a torch....
...and a hammer.
Now you will have to fill in that half moon hole cut out of the front bumper...... it never ends. The flat stuff is not too hard ....it is shaping some of the curved parts that will give you a headache. Keep sluggin' at it. Boob |

could anyone give me a pic of a 1945 front so i could do a reproduction of that braket :giveup |

Did you got a chance to look for a bracket :note: |
Braquette.....
Hi Eric
Yes I did find one....but only one....... would be easy to duplicate out of 2 inch by 3/8 stock...... but would be expensive to ship.... After the BBQ I will take exact measurements..... and photos and post on MLU.... Bob C |
