Corowa 2004

The only national MV rally held downunder is being held next week .

Corowa is always organised in a somewhat informal way , this makes it a relaxing and enjoyable event . Its basically - do your own thing at Corowa . This years theme is Dodge military vehicles , this year, there will be more ex military Dodges gathered in one location than any other rally I know of .

CU there ( in spirit )

Mike

Mike,
I would really like to get down to Corowa again, and see all the guys, but it is not possible this year. Heard from Dave Brown yesterday and he is going.

Have a good time

Bloody aeroplanes!

Unfortunately the Corowa Swim-in falls on the same weekend as the Tyabb airshow which I'll be filming, so instead of the pleasure of shooting Dodges from the ground, I'll be forced to film up to SEVEN P-51 Mustangs from the air from a Wirraway. Life is tough. :p Also planned is to fly with the Southern Knights Harvard aerobatic team on one of their practices and to also shoot air ro air of the Boomerang.

Incidentally, I produced a DVD (PAL only) of the last Tyabb airshow - if you'd like to buy a copy ($A40) please pm me.

After working furiously all day yesterday amid the screaming sounds of F1 cars at the nearby Grand Prix I have finally finished the "Year of the Studebaker" which will be on sale at Corowa courtesy of Jan Thompson. Please see Jan for your copy if you're going.

Seriously though, I will miss being at Corowa this year, the events are just too far apart to cover both as I tried to do last year.

Year of the Studebaker available

I know most of you will have headed there by this time but I'm happy (and relieved) to say the documentary of last year's event is finally finished and will be available for purchase at Corowa at a special show price.
Just look for Jan Thompson at the check-in tent.
