PLEASE NOTE!

(1) YOUR ADS APPEAR HERE AT THE DISCRETION of the Management. Ads judged to be improper or too far from the general interest of the forum membership will be removed without notice. Please respect your applicable laws when selling or buying items. As Maple Leaf Up is an international platform, we cannot be held responsible for not adhering to local laws and regulations.

(2) ALL ADS MUST CONTAIN AT LEAST YOUR NAME AND AN EMAIL ADDRESS, or you must have email turned on in your profile. Please attach photos with your ad. A picture speaks a thousand words!

(3) USE THE APPROPRIATE PREFIX. When posting an ad, selecte the prefix "For Sale", "Wanted" and "Heads Up" to notify MLU members about possibly interesting items for sale elsewhere. Ads posted here have no time limit, but we encourage posters to keep them current. When your item has sold / you have found your item please use the "Report Post" button so that we can mark the thread as "Sold" or "Now Found".

(4) PLEASE REWARD OUR SERVICE. If you have succesfully sold your item, consider making a donation towards the support of our forum.

(5) IF YOUR AD IS OF EXCESSIVE LENGTH, summarize the items and post a link to your own site where you can display full length or link to other pics and/or high-res pics on your own site.

Hanno, what about rules regarding price? Most forums insist on posting prices instead of being a guessing game or auction site. No best offers, etc. I think it only fair to be upfront with buyers as some guys like to "go fishing" by being vague? Its seems sometimes sellers will only sell if they "get a good enough offer".

Good point Chris; it is of course good practice to name a price or price range if you want to sell.

Although in principle anyone is free to "invite offers", sellers are better off on Ebay or similar auction sites if they want to see people bidding up against each other.

If all fails, can always apply rule (1) ;)
