Thanks Howard,
Well done guys and girls.

I've read a couple of comments in regards to the racecourse being a splendid location for the vehicles. How did the other caravan park perform as a camping ground?

Howard 22-03-12 09:44

Where's Wally?

Looks like Euan didn't want to miss out this year...

The racecourse/showgrounds were an excellent location in my opinion. Much more shade was the most significant difference, but had a nice feel about it, too.

Oh well I do like Dodge Weapon carriers (please dont hurt me chrysler owners LOL)

I wonder whether the KVE Committee would consider adding "Year of the Tank" to the 2016 theme.

Hi Tony,

It would be something of a miracle too ! In my local town is a MkIV, which has been parked in the same spot since 1919.

regards, Richard

Wonderful idea. I have just left a message for Rick so hopefully he will get back to me shortly.

I have never been a fan of doubling up on themes.
Why the hurry to go through the themes?
It doesn't matter how large or small the theme is.
It is also hard to remember back on past years that had double themes like Year of the cycle, everyone forgets that it was also year of the ....(I forgot)
Keep it simple!!!
Cheers

Bindaree Caravan Park was our chosen other site. The owners were extremely happy to have at least 7 new campers in their park and from all reports, those campers will be back there next year. So all good.

We will consult our KVE members and then will advise you of the decision regarding Year of the Tank.
