Plessey C42 HP Wireless Sets
According to a brief one or two line comment on the Royal Corps of Signals Museum site in England, there was a sister wireless set to the C42, identified as the C45 Set. The two are apparently visually identical, the C45 merely covers a higher set of frequencies. The notation goes on to say that a C42 HP Set, or a C45 HP Set could also be created by mounting either of the base sets into a high power amplifier unit.
Has anyone ever worked with or seen these high power Plessey rigs, or the amplifier assembly? David |
