Wish I could make the trip

Hi Michael

Last time I drove out that way it was 10+ hour drive. Which would be a 2 day drive in the C60S. I won't be driving any of my CMPs any distance until spring, having hand surgery September 3rd.

But do look forward to seeing photos and videos of the event so please share any links to photos or video that you find.

Cheers Phil

Naw, I did not expect you to arrive by 1940's Chevy. I had in mind you fly into Niagara or Buffalo, and drive a rental over. The greenback exchange is in your favour for the foreseeable future.

Last time I had business in Buffalo I had to fly to NY change planes then to Buffalo, return direct flight meaning I didn't have to change planes went from Buffalo to New Orleans to Boston. Back then you could not fly direct from NH to Buffalo.

But Manchester NH to Toronto would work now.

Cheers Phil

Just a note of thanks and gratitude to the Lincoln & Welland Regimental museum and Fort George for hosting a spectacular event. Great company...great vehicles and more gracious, organized an accommodating hosts could not be found!!

Where else could you find together Universal, Windsor and T-16 carriers? I do wonder the purpose behind the ball peen hammer on the seat of the museum's modified conventional Chev however...

A salute to the crew behind the scenes :salute:
While B-----'s Irish Cream was a prohibited beverage on Parks Canada property, the Lincs and Winks team looking after meals and cold drinks still did an outstanding job managing the assorted needs and odd requests.

Although we are somewhat biased towards the MV side of the show, I would not be out of line to suggest everyone acknowledged the fine performace by the WWI Canadian Cavalry living history group.

The diverse range of performances by each of the periods being presented was excellent. A thank-you also to our Stateside participants! There were a few people who came away from the show with a number of items struck off their bucket list.

Yes Bruce, I second your comments. Simply a spectacular show.

Nice to see the Windsor, T16 and MK-I* U.C. lined up, but how often in Canada does one see a Fox 1 displayed? For a Canadian based event there was an impressive collection of WWII era vehicles.

Sorry about the long delay folks but here are some more shots from the Timeline event that was held just over a month ago in Niagara on the Lake. Again, a huge thank you to all who participated and contributed to making the event such a success. The public was very much entertained and learned a lot from all of the friendly and knowledgable people who showed off the their vehicles and historical impressions. We at the museum are already starting to plan for net year's show and hoping it will surpass this years.

Thanks for the photos

Hi Steve

Great photos, here and on the link you provided. See a couple of CMPs are they members of MLU? Good looking vehicles.

Has the event been growing both in display and public attendances? Looks like a good venue for an event.

Cheers Phil
