Repro Carrier #21
3 Attachment(s)
I have made a few #21 carriers, copied from an original removed from Holy Roller here in London. Proper fillister head screws, and the buttons on the bottom of the channels to help keep the shock mounts from twisting. $125 ea.

question
Q. Is this Carrier used to mount No 19 sets in the MK II Carrier ?
Many thanks. Robert |
Robert,
I think the MK I U.C. used the #22 radio carrier, with the power unit mounted on top of the A/B set, same as the Sexton does. I am not sure if the MK II U.C. used the #21 carrier. I have seen photo's of the radio set in the MK II U.C. with the power unit beside the A/B set, like the #21 carrier is. Perhaps someone more knowledgable than I can chime in. Perry |

The other mounting option in the carriers was the #23 version. It had the power supply beside the main wireless unit like the #21 but it also had space for the control box. Usually the variometer would be mounted onto a metal seating plate the fastened to the side of the power supply. This placed the variometer more or less over the top edge of the control box so all components were streamlined.
This one was surplus to my vehicle requirements but has already been sold... Nice copy of the #21 by the way :-) |
Thanks Perry and David .
