We wondered when it would show up as we followed the google car for a while before the turnoff.

Harry was probably more worried by the truck behind than either the Google car or the double line...

Google History

Hi Harry

Good sleuthing, wonder if that is the first CMP caught on a Google Street camera?

I've seen them on the road, in regular car, but have never turned up in any of the views.

Cheers Phil

there are no rules when your ride is a CMP :)

Google

We have been checking street view of that stretch since last May waiting for it to show up.

How about a link

Hi Harry

Would you mind posting a link to the street view? Of course only post the link if it is not going reveal a secret location.

Just wondering if it shows you following the Google Car for any length of time?

This has got to be one of the coolest "Spotted on the road posts"

Cheers Phil

Found him...
Do a Google on "BC-7 & school road Harrison mills" https://www.google.com/maps/place/BC...!4d-121.945324 (Hint: Lougheed Hwy = BC-7")
it looks like Harry followed the Google car eastbound along Lougheed Hwy from before the Harrison Bay store (it's hard to make out how much before that Harry comes into the picture due to the distance behind the car he started at (yes, a CMP overtaking modern traffic) and the curves in the road) to School Rd and then the car either turned off or pulled over to let him and the logging truck pass.
