darn get well Geoff as your friends will miss you if you don't. :(
I'll pray for a speedy recovery and look forward to hearing from you once you are better. |
Whilst I am concerned about how our friend and leader is getting on, we can only hope that the best of attention will prevail.
If the Canadian hospital system is the same as ours there is another matter that could be of concern, and that is the financial impact of his recovery. If we passed around the hat, we could come up with some practable help, which is about the best most of us can do. Perhaps best done in Canada and I for one will one of the first to hit the can. Just a thought the situation could be even more serious than we understand now. Regards Col |
Oh Dear...
This does not bode well, lets hope he is as resilient as the trucks he is so fond of. All the best to Geoff and family. Rich. |

Thank you for letting us know, Keith.
Do you have a snail mail address for his family or even the hospital please? The Holgates would certainly like to make their support known Here's hoping for some good news in the following days. Howard, Jo, Sid, Errol. :salute: |

Shawn and Ashley are both very aware of Geoff's extended family at MLU and TANKNET. Geoff is at ICU at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, they will not release any information. His Son Shawn is sending SITREPS on Geoffs condition for us to share with everyone. Mates it does not look good. I received this this AM for release. I have posted it at TN, and in fairness you should see it as well.

From the Murray Family:
Such sad news to this point but know Geoff, Ashley, Shawn and Sally Ann that our prayers are with you for a better turn of news and an eventual recovery. Geoff is tough as nails and if anyone can overcome this adversity it would be him I am sure. Thank all of you who are keeping us in the loop. Really very many thanks and I know it is not easy on you. Bill & Pat Murray |
We're hoping it turns out well here.
Here's hoping for the best.

Prayers
I hope that Geoff won't mind if some of us turn to our religion to invoke some extra divine assistance.
Church of England (Anglican) in my case :salute: |
Geoff you are in our prayers the Pearce's
|
My prayers go out to Niner and his family.
At the risk of sounding insensitive we have to give some thought to succession. Even given that Geoff will pull through he will not be able to run MLU for a while. First things first, we should all make a donation in order to get that problem out of the way and buy some time. Secondly, somebody has to step up to bat to take the load off Geoff. My professional situation doesn't allow me to do so but I am sure that there is at least one MLU'er who could. Clive |
