Exhaust manifold gaskets
1 Attachment(s)
I am looking for either 7 or 14 of these exhaust gaskets.
Attachment 67750 They may fit certain motorcycles as well as my 2 vintage cars (7 on each car). Any leads will be gratefully received. Thanks Rick. |
Rick, We (old mechanics, when they were young) used to be able to buy copper asbestos (ha ha!) gaskets with just the big hole, you do the rest. I don't know if that is still a possibility or not? Maybe you can approach a gasket maker?
just some thoughts. |
options
There are 3 options Rick
The ebay seller Vanguard spares at Lilydale .. His name is Kerslake I think . He has many parts for a wide range of old cars Auto Surplus in Mitcham Norm, who ran Spares galore in Upper Fern Tree Gully ( previously called Hillman spares ) - he now sells parts from home in The Dandenongs and he attends the odd swap meet . I have his ph. number somewhere . He seems to have parts for just about anything .He even had the unusual LEYRUB uni joints as used on the CS8 and Pu Morris Commercials and the Commer knocker trucks I believe Mike |

I have had Gaskets to Go make very large copper sandwich gaskets. Their price & delivery time were very good. They are located in Thailand but are safe to deal with. http://www.gasketstogo.com/
The head gasket shown is for an engine with a 12 1/2" bore. Cost was $49 & it was here in 2 weeks. I sent them measurements only & it fit perfectly. |
All sorted, thanks Lynn, MikeK and Jack. I received a good lead through HMVF and found them in the UK.
Thanks all. Rick. |
