Welcome on board! I didn't even know there was such a thing as an F15 4x2.
Just goes to show how much I know. Anyhow, sorry I cannot answer your question. I would assume something radio related, but not with a g.s. body. Rob B. might be able to answer you. She looks to be quite a tidy wee truck. What part of the country are you in? Can you show a photo of the battery setup? |
In New Zealand NZ had 8 of the 4x2s I think

Here's one from your book Lynn

Thank you Terry.
All in all, nice little truck that would ride a little better than a 4x4. I haven't been able to look at my book for a while. Cheers. |
Mathew, you are lucky to have such an original and complete example to work on. It is a great addition to the NZ CMP fleet.
Cheers. |
Dad rebuild it back in the 70s and now its time for another
|
That is a great looking truck and it is running i wish you all the best in doing her up and finding every thing you need
|
It is a good looking vehicle Matthew.
Is there any sign of an NZ number? Check the doors (and maybe inside the cab under the windscreen). If it has been restored any markings may have gone already. There is no list available to match the Chassis or engine numbers to the NZ army fleet numbers. I will have a look for any F15 on the 1949 census and sample NZ numbers. Rob |
Thanks for that the name paint on the side is heather dad said it was there when he got it and apparently always has been
