Try Bill Toole at Albury. He was selling bundles of webbing straps at Corowa which will be long enough for your straps. Water bottle carrier straps I presume.

I think Bill's Ebay seller name was 'billythetoole"; however, I cannot find him active at the moment.
Ian Austin in the VMVC had bundles of straps for sale at Corowa. A quick search on Ebay has produced the following: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Pair-of-W...item35ebafe2ae http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WW2-Auxil...item2ed5adce21 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1941-WWII...item41979c581a http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WW2-BRITI...item2a525ea7aa Local disposal stores generally have straps that are suitable. Happy bidding :) |
