A definitive book on sherman Tanks?

Is there a definitive book on Sherman Tanks that covers Canadian ones? If so what is it?

Gordon.

R.P. Hunnicutt's Sherman book seems to be the best book on Sherman's. I'd be surprised if it didn't cover the Canadian ones.

Thank you so much I'll look into it.

It's been a while since I last read it, but cannot recall a lot on Canadian Shermans. This book focuses mostly on the design and production, and only marginally on the use of Sherman tanks.

Will have to think about other books convering Canadian Shermans....

Sherman in Canadian Service

While Hunnicutt's Sherman is definitively the definitive book on Shermans, you may want to look for the books published by our own Clive Law when looking for more info on their use by the Canadian Army.

I have not read them myself (yet), so here are links to reviews:

The Sherman in Canadian Service: http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.co...wow/wow002.htm
The Postwar Sherman in Canadian Service: http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.co...ow/wow036.html

Thank you and I have those. But I'm looking for more diagrams, colour plates etc. The WWII book covers only the Sherman V in that respect. But thank you never the less.

I remember Sherman: Illustrated history of the M4 medium tank by Chamberlain and Ellis being a good one as well, but as with Hunnicutt, I can't remember how much coverage if the Canadian tanks.
