At what age are you old ? My friend that owned a 980 DT just died while welding a camper on his Kenworth .When I phoned him he was going to do a little traveling . O ya he was 93 and never sick a day in his life . But we have a problem ,what's going to happen to our collections when we stop ticking . There was a NR 10 ton Mack cut up here as the owner died ,no one wanted to take it on .Most of my things are 90% complete .They need painting .When you are doing 15 vehicle it is slow going . I put about 200 machines in the North peace ag museum 37 tractors ect and a 15 ft Brahma Bull with Brian Mulroney on it ,and am doing 8 tools and health care things for patent too. I think I am going to sell my fishing boat .I told the Misses 2 years ago I am not buying any more things ,like quitting smoking .

George, My wife s planning a world trip when I "cock me cloggs"
I'm not sure there's enough in the junk to get her back home, but it sounds like your missus should be good for a few laps. :salute:

Is that the Diamond T 980 in the 4th picture, with a live front axle? How many were 6x6?

The 980 use to pull a Ross trailer . They called it the road packer . It had a winch back of the cab .There was no winch line out the front bumper . They use it to haul a dragline for fixing bridges after the war .The DT 969 in the fourth picture is mine ,all axels drive .It has a 45 Holmes wrecker on it . The five window cab Is a Canadian made cab for winter operation
