2 pdr and 3" CS Howitzer parts trade

Hi

I have some 2 pdr parts for trade (or possible sale) see photos. I'm looking for parts and barrel for a 3" close support howitzer as found in Matilda and Valentine tanks.
The 2 pdr cradle and recuperator are identical to those found on AT guns, the mounts are possibly from a Marmon Herrington armoured car but I'm not 100% certain.
Two assemblies available.

Thanks

Ben

Ben,
What does the mount for the gunsite look like? See just a corner of one in oe pic.

Need one for the Humber A/C.

Not finding the right part, so now looking for something relatively close that can be be made to work.

Would be great if you could get a couple more pictures.

Thanks for the extra picture, Ben. Yes, that is the part, but I can tell that it would take as much effort to modify it as to make a fake one from scratch. ANd I would hate to mess up an original part that whoever buys these will surely want. If it was the actual part I needed, I am afraid i would be a bit more mercenary out getting it. :no4: But I will just have to keep looking. :bang:

Thanks!
Jim

No problem Jim, I'm sure the bit you want will turn up...... usually right after you've made one.
