armoured car reconaisance car 6x6

I was just going through my stock of bearings , and found a few boxes with the code LV7GM part no5266686 BRG kit 0.20 US , inside is a paper which states Moraine Durex Main Bearings -Armoured car , Reconaisance Car light 6x6 Canadian military pattern , armored personal carrier .
It puzzles me as for what they will be .
Has anybody got a clue ?

Part no 5266686 fits the format for a Chevrolet/GM part number.
The T18 Boarhound 8x8 was a GM (Yellow Coach) product but I have usually seen it described as "heavy" rather than "light".

Based on the parts book for the C60X, part number 5266686 is a "bearing kit, crankshaft (.020 undersize) so it is probably common to other vehicles using the 270 CID engine.

There was also the M38, 6x6 , but these where prototype`s , so why ship so many bearings to Europe .

That is what springs to mind, indeed: T28/M38 Wolfhound 6x6 Armored Car.

There's also the 'Wolf' 8x8 heavy armoured car, which was a Canadian development - but it was an 8x8, and only one was built.

How so many bearings ended up in Europe? Maybe just offloading unneeded spares as MDAP supplies after WW2....

Puzzled,
Hanno

Based on the Wolf being a Ford development, it seems unlikely that it would have used the same engine bearings as a GM 270 engine (but anything is possible.
The Wolfhound is listed as using a Cadillac V8, at least it would be the same corporate parts bin but (without specific knowledge)I would have thought different bearings.
The Boarhound is quoted as having 2 GM 6 cylinder engines (which is what suggested it to me) of 125 HP each which I admit seems a bit much for the 270 at that era.
