Another brewed up AVRE....Douvres?
The caption on this next pic simply states that this AVRE was destroyed at "the radar station action". I've read that five tanks were damaged/destroyed June 7th approaching the radar station at Douvres, three by mines and two by PAKs, perhaps the writer meant AVREs? The Radar station was finally taken 10 days later with help from the 80th Assault Squadron and, I assume, their AVRE's, so the question is was this AVRE destroyed in the Canadian sector or elsewhere? Any info appreciated.
