Year of the Carrier DVD

Well, you're not going to believe it, but Year of the Carrier is finally finished, and we're about to undertake a duplication run.

We're making a NTSC version for you North Americans as well, but I'd like to get some sort of indication of just how many people are interested in buying a copy.

The program is 1 hour with another hour of special features, including an interview with Stuart Loy as well as a very COLD February ride in his Carrier.

Please either email me or send me a PM.

Jon Skagfeld 17-06-05 06:31

Keith:Might it be a good idea if all Canadian purchasers had their shipment consolidated to a central distribution point here in Canada?

Would this also be of benefit to you, or does it really matter with your own chosen and preferred method of shipment?

A thought.

Keith Webb 17-06-05 07:17

Distribution

Good idea, Jon

Just need to get an idea of numbers first...

Thanks, Keith

Payment

I would be interested. Located in Canada would be an asset and someone with an email address . I can pay any email address money by using a Bank of Montreal internet banking feature .

I wouldn't be surprised if the DVD is 60min worth of people asking "Where's Euan?"

YOTC

Thanks Tony,
Trust you to rub it in, I did get my own back while watching YOTC with my wife she made the comment who's the bloke from dads army?LOL.

Tony Smith 20-06-05 02:04

Hey, Euan, I was half expecting you to announce that you had come back from the V8 Supercars race in Shanghai and that you had found some of the missing (donated to the Chinese Nationalist Army) 3" Mortar Carriers.

Keith Webb 20-06-05 02:49

The REAL reason for this thread...

is to get some sort of idea of how many copies to make as this is a very expensive process - so far there are three takers which is a good start...

Anyone else care to voice an interest?

Carrier DVD

Hi all
Just received my ten copies for my mates. Had to preview it on my elderly mother's dvd player as we don't own one. What I saw was brilliant.

And Max, those gear changes when you were rounding up the sheep were as smooth as duck's poo.

Bob

Keith Webb 27-07-05 21:23

Duck poo

Thanks, Bob

And there are stocks of the NTSC version available for our North American mates too, so please, send in your orders.

The response so far has been amazing - I've had lots of emails - even people ringing me to rave about it!:D

Keith Webb 01-08-05 04:23

Cost outside Australia

Because overseas orders are exempt from GST this is the price structure:

For USA / Canada (NTSC format):
The cost is $32 (AUD) plus $10 (AUD) postage and handling ($42 total). As of today, this coverts to $31.76 (USD) or $38.83 (CAD).
For the UK (PAL format):
The cost is $32 (AUD) plus $10 (AUD) postage and handling ($42 total). As of today, this converts to £18.08 (GBP).

You can place an order by email via credit card (Visa & Mastercard only). Remember to include the card type, card number, expiry date, and the name as it appears on the card. Also include your name and mailing details.
You also have the option of faxing us your order (fax comes directly to my desk). The number is: +61 3 9682 8233.
Alternatively, you can make a direct deposit into our bank account. Just contact the lovely Kate who will give you the details:
kate at imagecontrol.com.au (replacing the at with @ and removing spaces) and she'll look after you.:salute:

BRAVO, KEEFY!

Well done, sir. We received ours today and spent the afternoon watching it and eating Tim-Tams ( :yappy: will address this last in another post). It was outstanding, and the extras contained therein equally entertaining! :salute:

I recommend this DVD to anyone interested in military vehicles, anywhere. Truly a professional job, better, dare I say it, than even YOTB! I can't wait to see your next, Keith, now I HAVE to get that other one converted to NTSC! :o

To everybody: BUY THIS DVD. That's an order. :D

PS: The images of Max chasing sheep with his carrier had us howling... watched it several times now... :sheep: :sheep: :sheep:

Vets Dottir 20-08-05 04:01

Thanks Master Max :)

You looked like you were having a total gas ... it was great to see some faces I've only had names for until now (but what are the names of the two :sheep: :sheep: ? :D )

Max, your farm, the bits I saw of it, looks great ... between your piece of heaven and Keefy's, and all the views of outdoors Australia, and most especially the Aussie people ... I really hope to see it all first hand one day before I ... croak ;)

Geoff assures that we'll be make it to visit Snowen Sound and the Skagfelds again soon ... BTW Jon, I enjoyed seeing you, and Master Sunray in that YOTC DVD. As it should be :)
