location of C-15TA serial numbers

Need help!!!
Where on the C-15TA is any stamped chassis or part number or serial number?

No original data plates remain.

I checked under the chassis rail at the front, passenger side. Looks like a repair steel strip welded to the frame where I thought a stamp might be but if so, it is covered now.

If it is on the chassis, where? Top of the frame? Outside? Inside? Bottom? On a brace part?

Pics would be great. but any guide would be greatly appreciated!!!!

To the best of my knowledge, Canadian produced Chevrolet CMPs did not have serial numbers stamped on the frames as normal practice. Based on MLU postings it seems that some/most Australian assembled Chevrolet CMPs did have stamped serial numbers. I also believe most/all Ford CMPs had stamped serials on the frame.
I will be perfectly happy to be corrected on any of my comments if I'm putting up incorrect information.

I am less sure about the armoured CMPs, is it possible that with their smaller production numbers the serial might have been stamped to the armoured body? This is only a guess - I hope owners of armoured CMPs will be able to say yes or no.
