Anyone seen this brass tool before? Broad C marked...3 different size jaws at top...with a 0 to 60 gradient measurement ruler across the handle. CHeers Rob

Ok..... Its a Ford diff pinion bearing preload tool.

Another take on the same function is this Australian-made item. With an AXG- number, it must have been an authorised tool by Ford Australia.

Hi Robert, I'm glad you purchased it so now I know where to borrow it when I do the Scout Car diff. How are the building plans coming along? Plenty of interest in the Summit chassis. R.

Hi Rick, better get a decent pair of hiking boots it's a fair walk from your shed to mine. Glad the chassis is of interest and that you were in a position to save it. Building is still in the paperwork stage, most problems are sorted now and the builders sign is at the gate. Rob.
