Army trailers

I don’t think that the link I posted is working. If you search “1950 army trailer” in Facebook marketplace you should be able to find the ad. Price is $1000 for two trailers. The ad says Trent Hills Ontario.
Thanks

The link worked fine for me. The ad is for a (I think he is just selling one) M104 1-1/2 ton cargo trailer. The pintle ring is cut off so there may be a ball attachment.

They are probable the least desirable of the military trailers. They are heavy, have air over hydraulic brakes (so you need to have an air brake endorsement for them), and a little high up for loading.

The same trailer is also listed on kijiji.

Looks to be selling both for $1000. At least the one has has the pintle removed and a farm implement type hitch fabbed up. There are crude benches in the back and a 'Ride at Your Own Risk" sign. Looks like these were set up for hayrides. Brakes are probably non existent if not at least disabled.

Thanks Rob for checking the link, for some reason the marketplace link took me to my Facebook news feed, maybe because I was already logged in.

In their present form, they are not particularly desirable. As I mentioned, hook it up to a deuce and you need an airbrake license (although not for the deuce/MLVW).

I had one of these and moved the cargo box onto a lighter frame, with a commercial axle and Iltis tires. They are tough boxes, and I use it for hauling firewood out of the bush. It will hold an honest cord of wood.
