Corowa Project 30 Subforum

Hallo everyone,

For those of you who don't commonly investigate the Military Shows & Events Section of MLU, I'd just like to draw your attention to a new subforum I've enabled in that Section.

Entitled COROWA PROJECT 30 , this subforum has been implemented in support of a new initiative by Jan Thompson of Sydney, Australia to celebrate the first 30 years of the largest military vehicle show in the Southern Hemisphere, held annually at Corowa, New South Wales since 1980.

This initiative is in two parts - first, a website to which this forum makes reference, and second, a printed publication Jan plans to produce which tells the story of Corowa through the eyes and words of those who have been in on the event since its inception and beyond.

I am privileged to have been asked to assist Jan with this endeavour, primarily through hosting, producing and maintaining her website, Corowa30.org, which I invite you all to have a look at; it is a unique view of a truly great show!

Most of all, of course, Corowa is of interest to Australians, New Zealanders and any one else in the region who have an interest in preserved military history, and indeed, some of us in Europe and North America have been there to experience Corowa first-hand! Perhaps this might also entice others from these parts of the world to plan a truly unique vacation for themselves in the near future... :)

The Corowa Project 30 forum enables Jan to reach out to those interested in her effort and whose support she requires to see this through to its rightful conclusion. Just as we firmly support individual initiatives to produce small gatherings such as Ontario's BB- and CC- series of events, MLU is happy to offer what support we can to Jan in this challenge, so drop in even just to say hello!

Thanks, and to Jan:
