RCEME for a Fd. Coy. RCE

I was wondering how many and what kind of vehicles and personel were attached from RCEME to an Engineering Field Company during normal operations?

Re: RCEME for a Fd. Coy. RCE

John;

The answer is NONE, there was no Light Aid Detachment attached to a Field Company/Squadron, RCE. There was however one attached to a Field Park Company/Squadron, RCE.

Cheers :)

Thanks!
Believe it or not, that thought did cross my mind. Of course, it makes sense that all repairs etc. would be done by them.

LAD

In their September 1944 War Diary, the 10th Field Park Company, RCE lists a LAD of 1 officer and 11 other ranks attached. I was wondering if there was a standard LAD grouping that would tell me the make-up of this unit. How many vehicles and of what type?
