Carrier wheels by Firestone

1 Attachment(s)
Hi, may I ask if anyone has seen carrier wheel (boogie/idler) with "FIRESTONE" embossed on the rubber? I know Firestone logo "F" is quite common and possibly all (?) canadian made carriers have rubber made by Firestone but I havent seen full FIRESTONE lettering yet.
Also is it possible that british made carrier could be genuinely equipped with Firestone wheels? I mean with Firestone logo or lettering?
I know that Firestone had a factory in UK during the war but as far as I know on British carriers it is not common to have vendor logo on the rubber.
Thanks for suggestions

Hi Lynn, according to internet T. B. Andre should be UK based company, they used to do rubber shock absorbers etc., thats all I found.
FIRESTONE lettering seems to be quite common on the T16 Carriers, anyone can confirm it also on UC?

Firestone, being a US rubber company back in the 1940s probably won the contract for all T16 wheels.

Petr, the T16 has a smaller dia. wheel bearing 100mm O.D., as opposed to the 110 of the earlier carriers. (I have only met with one T16 briefly at W&P in 2014 while in the company of Michael R.
Many years ago Ford had a falling out with its main tyre supplier (in the USA) I can't recall which company.

Yes, thats correct, also the T16 wheels are smaller I believe, 19" instead of 20" on UC's.
But the question is if there are any UC wheels with FIRESTONE lettering anywhere - anyone? :giveup
