OMVA Executive Positions - Call For Two Nominations
 

The term of office for 2 of the 4 elected positions on the OMVA Executive - President (incumbent Les Fisher) and Secretary / Membership Coordinator (incumbent Barry Churcher) expires at the end of 2018.

This is the call for nominations for those two positions, for a 2 year term commencing in 2019 and expiring at the end of 2020.

All OMVA members in good standing may stand for any elected office. A member may hold only one office. Any member in good standing may nominate another member but must first obtain the nominee's agreement to serve.
Nominations should be emailed to me at omva.cmp@gmail.com and must be received by the closing date of Thursday Nov. 22, 2018.

If an election is necessary, voting shall be conducted by email, with completed ballots being returned by December 15. Election results will be posted by December 22. If you have any questions please contact any member of the OMVA Executive.

This is a reminder that nominations for the elected positions of President and Secretary / Membership Coordinator on the OMVA Executive must be received by me via email at omva.cmp@gmail.com by the closing date of Thursday Nov. 22, 2018.

Nominations for OMVA President and Secretary / Membership Coordinator
 

Nominations for the positions of President and Secretary / Membership Coordinator have now closed. One person was nominated for each position:

for President, Les Fisher, first nominated by Jeff Armitage
for Secretary / Membership Coordinator, Barry Churcher, first nominated by Brian Gough

Les and Barry have confirmed they are willing to serve another term. As there was only one nominee for each position an election is not necessary and they are acclaimed in their positions, with their terms to expire at the end of 2020.

Congratulations to Les and Barry and thanks to Pierre LePage and Peter Simundson who also nominated and showed their support for these nominations.


The full elected Executive for 2019 is:

Vice President Terry Witiuk, term expires end of 2019

Treasurer Brian Olivieri, term expires end of 2019
