F60S Floorboard
1 Attachment(s)
Progress on the 1944 F60S has ground to a halt as the front brake slave cylinders were incorrectly machined and we are awaiting their rectification.
This means that all sorts of cab work cannot be completed. One outstanding question relates to a slot to be found to the right of the driver's seat. There is no obvious use for it and I have seen the same slot blanked off on another F60S. Any ideas? Actually there are various other apertures and tapped holes in the rear floor panel which I cannot think what they are for but I've not photographed them yet. Alastair F60S |
Hiya,
i have the same on the floor of my F30 - I understand from various sources that it relates to the winterised cab originally destined for Russia. There was a fuel primer lever that was pumped through that slot. Never seen any pics though. |

Thanks, Andy.
We picked up the corrected slave cylinders yesterday and they are now fitted and bled so on with the project. Alastair F60S |

Alastair/Andy,
This image might resolve the question. It is part of the modifications for Special Cold Weather Equipment. Colin |
