Mostly I'm not sure if the company tactical symbol (yellow square and HQ lettering) would be displayed this way, if at all?
regards,
Jack

Looks about right. Sometimes I've seen the tactical markings also painted on the front bumper.

Thank you Jordan, and that is interesting about the bumper. Would that be located on passenger or driver side, and large enough to cover the full height of the bumper?

regards,
Jack

I've seen them located on the drivers side. Typical just a black background full bumper height with the letter/number painted on it in white.

Jordan, thanks again.

Hi Jack,
I know the Canadian signs follow the British system generally so if this is so, then the '62' sign is correct on the front view, but signs are wrong way around on the rear, in other words, Divisional signs on Left side of vehicle back and front, and Unit signs on Right side back and front.

regards, Richard

Hello Richard, agree the wording for placement of the markings can be confusing, but checking my references again. I think I have it correct?

"Formation signs eventually measured 6-1/2 inches high by 9 inches wide and were painted on the left front and right rear fenders of vehicles ..."

Barry Beldam's ArmouredAcorn site was my main visual reference:

Thanks Jack,
I stand corrected then. I just assumed they were in same location as British, but just found a shot of the rear end of a Canadian GPA, and as you say.

cheers Richard
