Canadian Dodge 3/4 ton APT

Hi:
Does anyone out there have photos or info on where the APT's went during/after the war and what their markings were?

Is the only real visual difference (aside from engine size) the narrower Cdn. body in comparison with the American original?

I've heard we used them here after the war with the artillery, and the Dutch had them in Indonesia.

Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Don

Hi Don..
The 3/4 ton Canadian Dodge APT came in two bodies...The normal width was the first body and was 6'11 1/8" wide and identified as the 2M1A on the instrument panel ident plate..viz D 3/4 APT 2M1A..
The narrow body was 6" narrower and was idented as the 2M2A....
The wheel base was also shorter than the normal y'all Dodge at 98"...The airportable spares list is also different from the normal 3/4 ton Dodge list..
If you have a copy of the Dodge specs you are welcome to come over and compare the two..Give me a call...
