Stewart Warner Speedometer Identification

I was wondering if any of you could help me identify what vehicle this Stewart Warner speedometer is for? I am guessing it's WW2 era and I think it's Canadian? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to MLU. Nice looking speedometer! Very obscure!!! Is there a prize for identifying it?
It fits a WW2 Coleman 4-ton 4x4 G-55A chassis that mounted a Quickway Crane. Hard to believe that Stewart-Warner would have made a special speedo for this application so it may fit another vehicle. It is reminiscent, but different, of the WW2 Canadian Lynx speedometer. …….. Brian (looking for Finnish army bicycle parts) |
Thank you Brian. I looked up the crane, it's pretty cool looking. Do you have any idea on value for the speedometer?

I think it is a novelty item for a speedometer collector! The Quickway cranes are pretty rare. Interesting to see the 2 digit tripmeter (plus the 1/10-mile) which makes sense for something like a mobile crane.

Thank you for letting me know. I am going to list it on ebay and see what happens.
