Just browsing through Gregg's Volume 1 and hit upon page 136.Built by Four Wheel Drive Auto Co. to tow the 5.5 inch gun.Don't know if this vehicle has ever been on the thread before.Who manufactured this vehicle and where? A rare beastie that I've never seen other pictures of besides this one in the book . :confused

Garry..
The FWD HAR and SU- COE models were built by the FOUR WHEEL DRIVE COMPANY.... In Clintonville ,Wisconsin and Kitchener, Ontario..
They were both 4X4 in 4-5 ton range and built like proverbial "Russian Bull"...
Here is the listing on the HAR from my web site so Canada had these trucks during WW2..
I have the SU- COE Model manual also ,but not listed.

#42: 120 pages NO NUMBER FOUR WHEEL DRIVE AUTO CO. PARTS BOOK, FWD MODEL HAR TRUCKS, RIGHT-HAND STEER, (March '42). Illustrated.
