Listing order of posts
 

just curious...

the current posts are listed oldest to newest.. ie.. when there are several pages, the newest is on the last page.

Would it be better- or possible - to reverse so that the newest postings are first?

Go to ""user CP" on the top left of this page, then on the left menu go down to "Edit Options". On that page go to "thread display options" and select "Linear newest first" then hit the save changes button on the bottom of the page. If that isn't the one you want then try "Linear oldest first" and hit the save button again.

I used to always say, if you are getting help from me for a computer, then you really need help. Then one day, even some younger people started asking.

Marc it is your personal settings doing that. Do as Rob said above and you will have the latest posts first like I do :D

Me too. I like to start at the beginning and finish at the end. To do it any other way is akin to reading the back page of a novel first.

But then again, to each his own...live and let live.

As a self admitted addict of this place, when I log in I click on the "new posts" and it gives me all the new posts over the entire forum since my last visit.

Makes for a much simpler visit
