Looking to Photograph Daimler Ferret Scout Car (BC Canada)

Hi all,

I'm currently a student in Vancouver BC studying visual effects for film and games. For my final project I'm looking to digitally recreate the Daimler scout car mk2 and find out more about how it functions. Something similar to this would be great:

I'm interested in anyone owns one within 4/5 hours proximity to Vancouver, who could let me take pictures and video for reference in helping me recreate it accurately. You could be compensated and should only take 30 mins or so!

If anyone knows anyone who owns one, I'd love for them to get in touch!

Thanks so much,

Jordan

Jordan there is a very tidy one in Victoria in the armoury there and cared for by a friend of mine. I know an Ontario Mk2/3 went to BC but I have lost touch with that one.

Let me know if I can be of help

Thanks Robin!

I will definitely check it out, I was just concerned I wouldn't be able to access it or walk around it with it being in a museum (though I've never been so I'm not sure what to expect). Do you know if it stays permanently indoors, or can it be taken outside?

Thanks again

Jordan,

send me an email and then will introduce you to the Museum, they drive it outside often.
