Problems with site timing out

Hi All

I've been having a problem with my login timing out and requiring a new login. Which in itself is not a problem what is a problem is that the new posts list also resets each time this happens.

How long is the login inactive time out set for?

One of the problems I'm having is that when I'm looking for a photograph to add to a tread or answer a question the system times out. This means that the New Posts display resets and I loose track of where I am in reading posts.

Any suggestions on how to work around this would be appreciated.

I've changed a couple of settings, Phil... let's see how this goes. There's still a lot about this package I haven't yet figured out, but we'll get there.

It worked

Thanks- The setting changes works I didn't time out this time. This is a real help to me as I was looking for information and now I don't loose my place, in the search and have to repeat it.

Just out of curiosity what did you set the time out to.

PS Also like the spell check feature, now I don't have to do my responses in WORD to correct the spelling and then transfer them to the forum.

Thanks- again

Or just learn how to spell..... :D

I set the timeout for 1 hour, but I did something else as well that seemed to work - I deliberately went away for three hours and I wasn't logged out when I went back in. Will keep monitoring!
