Could these be the two lots of 10 vehicles each that were recently sold out of Petawawa?

I sent the seller a message to see if he could sell a complete truck. I know some people on this forum have expressed interest in these trucks on another thread.

If they are the Petawawa trucks, they went for a little over $700 each once tax is figured in, and then the cost of moving them from Pet to their present location. As well, the guidelines on the sales expressly forbid selling complete vehicles.

Let us know how you do.

The seller texted me back and said he would sell complete trucks. Here is a copy of our conversation.

Can you sell a complete truck? I posted a link to this ad on the maple leaf up forum.

Hi Rob,
I copied the link to the main forum when I sent the text about the trucks. What I posted in my earlier post was a copy of my message to the seller, and his reply. It would seem that someone could buy a complete truck for $2500. Better act fast if someone wants one, before the government stops him selling them.

We only sold 5 of them here in Shilo, and I think that 2500 was the highest price realized. Others only fetched around the $1100 mark. And these were for fairly complete trucks...not rusted out or cannibalized vehicles.

I don't see any warning signs that the military will not be selling these trucks in the future. They are supposed to remain in service until (potentially) 2025, but a large portion of the fleet has been mothballed to save costs.

Beyond the above, my feelings for the LSVW as a vehicle are well known.

As Rob sees them

I went to the link on FB because an LSVW tarp is the perfect size to cover my M151A2 over the roll cage. But, none left.
