When this unit landed in Normandy, what were the proper cloth patches worn on the upper arm?

Quite certain the formation patch was the blue diamond of the Canadian II Corps:

For the shoulder title, there is so many variations to choose from. Any ideas which is the correct one?

Right, I think I've found the answer elsewhere on the interweb:

As I understand it, the shoulder title composed of just two rows of wording is post war. The yellow wording on dark green background likely dates to 1942.

That leaves two options that are correct for the time frame. The flashes with either XII on top, or 12 D in the center would both be alright, the differences are just a matter of where they were made?
