6 pdr 7 cwt recoil length
 

If someone has a 6 pdr A/T gun manual, could they please look up and post the length of recoil (metal to metal)?

Would like it to compare to other A/T guns of the Second World War, but it is an artillery manual that I don't have.

No one managed to pull a manual off the shelf?

Working recoil is 30", metal to metal is 32".

Someone should of told this guy!

That looks like and accidental discharge....the gun went off on the closing of the breech. Ouch.



We had a Sgt get in the way of the breech on a Giat LG1 back when I was attached to the artillery. It caught him in the leg.....he was not walking right for a while after that.
