Re: CMP related stuff on Epay
I didn't and I'm keeping a close watch on the pics, which were all taken in my old hunting grounds and I might be doing a little sniping on those mortar round tubes if the price doesn't get too crazy.

Excellent pics, Phil Go for it!

cmp pics
The jeep that is on it's side has a licence plate that reads N3-655 and the words "British Columbia" under the number. I read somewhere that the provincial military plates for BC weren't issued until the 1950s. Can anyone confirm this to verify if these are WWII or not?

G'day All, the ebay auction for the prints is over, was anyone here the successful bidder, just curious as they sold for a kings ransome, cheers Dennis :sheep:

Interesting set of pictures, I particularly like to see the road tread tyres on the F15A in the snow, but without any snow chains! The same is true for most of the other vehicles, which probably accounts for all that sliding and slipping about. |
To good to let them get away
Yes they did for more than I would normally bid but I did want them to disappear. Wanted to be sure that they ended up being share and preserved for the CMP community.
I'll keep people posted once I get them. Cheers all. |
G'day All, Thanks Hanno and Phil for your responses and good on ya Phil for saving the pix. They will be interesting to look at when you actually get them, anyway looking forward to seeing them hopefully in a larger format cheers Dennis :sheep:
