Not sure where I found these simple rubber protectors, but I am looking for a bunch more for the restorations and other vehicles in the driveway.

Any suggestions or leads?

They were used on many many vehicles. In Cdn service most notably the M151A2. There is another piece of equipment in Cdn service that was still using these, as I ordered some thru the CFSS just a few years ago for the museums M151A2.

Terminal protectors

I'm having a side conversation with Jacques Rioux for a dozen of them - 8 for the two Jeeps and a couple of spares.

I used to use them on just about everything. They usually prevent an oops when something like a wrench is dropped over the batteries, or a battery bracket comes lifts or comes loose.

Hmm, those look exceedingly useful. Especially in an M151 series vehicle where the battery cover is one cosmic blip from becoming a short circuit.
