I should say... Sid is at Kapooka for his initial training with the Australian Army.
Following his basic, his training will be with the Australian Combat Field Engineers. A sapper!

My how the little boy has grown, congratulations, and of course you are a proud Dad. :thup2:

My boys are growing like bamboo, it will be a few years yet before they leave the nest - but it feels like it all happens within the blink of an eye :)

Fantastic photographs, you can never have too many Sappers. I come from a family of Engineers but somehow my Son ended up as a Cook in the RCN.

Kids make their own paths sometimes; My Dad was 39 years RCAF and I ended up in the Armoured Corps AND married a Navy Cook! (Not Ed's boy!!)

Sid marched out last Friday 6th April 2018
Which is also my Wedding Anniversary
Which is also my late Father's birthday.
So following his march out, we all assembled to share a meal and a few throffies at one of Wagga Wagga's finest establishments.
Sid is now based at the School of Combat Engineers, Moorebank. (Sydney, NSW)
